December 31st, 2015.
After our long journey to Byron, busy fun filled days and sleeping in a tent, it was nice to finally have a little sleep in this morning. Us girls ventured into Byron for coffee and a shop. We managed to spend a few hours wandering the main streets. Some of our fav shops that are well worth a little looks include:
- Spell Boutique
- Arnhem clothing
- Drift Lab
- Karly Sunshine
- The Bead Shop
- Theres also some fab second hand shops!
As Byron was super busy, we ventured into Suffolk Park to grab our supplies for the festival tomorrow! The Suffolk Park Bakery has the best selection of baked goods plus loads of fresh sandwiches and rolls (and I mean loads!). It’s definitely the place to grab a coffee too. The queue itself was a ten minute wait just to order.
It was unfortunately a little overcast today so we had to cancel our beach plans. Instead we took to chilling in Bridgette’s courtyard with our new years crew and kick starting new years eve listening to some tunes, having a few drinks and way too many laughs.
As the evening approached, we headed into Byron. We sat by the beach eating sushi as the sunset. In true Byron style, we ended up seeing in the new year in by dancing the night away to live music in one of the main streets.
I don’t do the resolution thing but each year I try to make just as good as the previous.. and 2016 is already starting off nicely!
